Warner Library
-
The Warner Library has supported Literacy Volunteers of the Tarrytowns from the organization's inception in 1974.
- The Library is our official home.
- It provides a designated tutoring center that houses LVT's collection of tutoring materials and cubicles for tutoring.
- The Library Director appoints a liaison to the LVT Board of Directors for coordination of efforts to reach out to the community and advice and training on ESL resources.
- The library website provides links to the LVT website for those who seek help learning English and those who seek opportunities to volunteer.
- The Reference librarians help learners apply for tutors and volunteers apply to be tutors.
- They also manage access to the tutoring center.
- The library allows LVT to use public meeting rooms for meetings, tutor training and social events.
- It also provides storage space for LVT files and training materials.
